27 June 2013
The Immigration Department, in response to media enquiries, confirmed that it has received today (June 27) a notification from the United States Government that Mr Snowden's US passport has been revoked.
Under the laws of Hong Kong, a passenger coming to Hong Kong must possess a valid travel document. The Immigration Department has already notified all airlines that Mr Snowden would not be allowed to enter Hong Kong. Therefore, all airlines should not allow him to board any Hong Kong-bound flights.
