Revised business hours for three Sections at the Headquarters of the Immigration Department

The Immigration Department (ImmD) announced today (August 27) that starting from August 30, the Certificate of Entitlement Section, Employment and Visit Visas Section and Right of Abode Section at the Headquarters of the ImmD will extend their business hours from 8.45am- 4.30pm to 8.45am-5pm, from Monday to Friday, but will no longer open on Saturday morning.

As set out in the respective application form/application's notes for guidance, the application for services provided by the three sections can be made by post, or electronic services where applicable, or through the drop-in box or the Incoming Mail counter at the Headquarters of ImmD which will remain open on Saturday mornings. Personal attendance of the applicants is not necessary.

For enquiries on the new arrangements, please call ImmD at 2824 6111, visit the ImmD website www.immd.gov.hk, or approach the enquiry counters on 2/F of the Headquarters of ImmD which will remain open on Saturday morning.
