精益求精 力求創新 Striving for excellence and innovation 二零零八年,入境處首先在香港國際機場推出經常訪港旅客 e- 道,讓更多旅客可享受更快捷方便的出入境檢查服務。二零一七年,入境處再創 新猷,推出訪港旅客自助離境服務(「離境易」)。「離境易」採用容貌識別技術核實訪港旅客的身份,讓合資格並持有電子旅行證件的訪港旅客經 「離境易」 e- 道辦理自助離境手續,無須預先登記。鑑於該服務運作暢順,入境處於同年年底把服務擴展至其他管制站,進一步縮短旅客辦理離境 手續所需的時間。根據互相使用自助出入境檢查服務安排,持有大韓民國、新加坡、德國、澳洲及泰國護照的旅客亦可登記使用香港的 e- 道服務。 入境處會繼續與世界各地出入境部門保持緊密聯繫,推出更多便利旅客的措施,以配合香港整體發展。 In 2008, the department launched the frequent visitor e-Channel service at the HKIA, so that more visitors can enjoy faster and more convenient immigration clearance service. In 2017, another new initiative, self-service departure for visitors to Hong Kong (Smart Departure), was launched. Smart Departure employs facial recognition technology for identity verification, which allows eligible visitors holding electronic travel documents to perform self-service departure clearance through Smart Departure e-Channels without prior enrolment. In view of its smooth operation, the service was extended to other control points in late 2017 to further shorten the time required for departure clearance. Under the arrangement for mutual use of automated immigration clearance services, holders of passports of the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Germany, Australia and Thailand may also enrol for the e-Channel service in Hong Kong.
