免遣返聲請統計數字 （統一審核機制實施後） Numbers of non-refoulement claims (since commencement of the USM) 自統一審核機制於二零一四年三月實施至二零二零年年底，除機制實施初期尚待審核的 6 699 宗免遣返聲請外，入境處接獲另外 19 020 宗聲請。期間，入境處已就 18 233 宗聲請作出決定，當中 219 宗獲確立（包括 134 宗於上訴階段獲確立），另有 6 923 宗撤回， 令尚待審核的聲請總數減至 563 宗。二零二零年，由於在 2019 冠狀病毒病疫情期間實施特別工作安排，只能為聲請人提供有限度的 公費法律支援服務，因而阻延了部分聲請個案展開審核程序。截至二零二零年十二月底，除了 563 宗尚待入境處完成審核的聲請 外，另有約 700 宗個案因疫情影響而尚未展開審核程序。 From the commencement of the USM in March 2014 to the end of 2020, in addition to the outstanding 6,699 claims pending screening at the initial period of implementation, the department received a further 19,020 claims. During this period, the department determined 18,233 claims, of which 219 claims were substantiated (including 134 claims substantiated at the appeal stage) and 6,923 claims withdrawn, bringing the total number of claims pending screening to 563. In 2020, due to the special work arrangements during the COVID-19 pandemic, only limited publicly-funded legal assistance could be provided to claimants, which delayed the commencement of the screening procedure of some claims.
