出生、死亡及婚姻登記紀錄 Records of Births, Deaths and Marriage Registration 入境處於一九七九年接管前註冊總署負責的 出生、死亡及婚姻登記工作。在九十年代電腦化 之前，出生、婚姻及死亡登記是由人手記錄的， 證書上的資料亦由人手所寫。入境處總部儲存了 一萬七千多本人手記錄的出生、死亡及婚姻 登記冊，當中最古舊的登記冊可追溯至一八七三年 （清朝同治十二年）。 The department took over the duties of births, deaths and marriage registration from the then Registrar General ’ s Department in 1979. Before the computerisation in the 1990s, births, deaths and marriages were registered manually and the information on the certificates was written by hand. It contains the birth records for the Kowloon district in 1873.
