Refurbishment of marriage hall at Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry

22 June 2016

The Immigration Department announced today (June 22) that the marriage hall at Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry (the Registry) will undergo refurbishment from October 9 to 11, 2016 and that consequently the marriage celebration service on the working days of October 9 and 11 will be suspended. However, related services for the searching of marriage records provided by the Registry will be unaffected.

"Marrying parties wishing to celebrate their marriage at our marriage registries on October 9 or 11, 2016 may choose to use City Hall Marriage Registry, Tsim Sha Tsui Marriage Registry or Sha Tin Marriage Registry, while Tuen Mun Marriage Registry will also be open for marriage celebration service on October 11, 2016," a spokesman for the department said.
